In such a divided world, community is more important than ever. We believe in the power of a body of people doing life together. We have seen successful communities rise up and propel their inhabitants forward into a self-sustaining life. Every activity is intentionally available to any person who wants to be involved.
All of the programs that we host are can be found below:
Soup Kitchen - where we eat meals together in the church on the Land of Hope. Everyone is welcome to sit, eat, and gather; as well as take meals home for loved ones
Weekly Church Service - where we worship, pray and dive into God’s Word together. Everyone is invited. We follow up the adult and children's service with refreshments or full meals.
Youth group - where our team leads the next generation in learning about the life-changing, life-defining power of a Jesus Christ. These meetings are held once a week for middle and high school students.
Fortified Formula Distribution - where mothers gather to hear the Word of God (upon their decision), gather with other moms going through similar situations, and receive a powdered formula fortified with vitamins and minerals. Formula is offered to pregnant or nursing mothers, as well as chronically malnourished children over the age of one. Note - if the mother is able, we strongly encourage that formula is given in addition to breastfeeding, not in place of.
Children’s activities on the Land of Hope - where kids who are not yet attending school come to the Land of Hope to be fed spiritually and physically, engaging in learning activities, and a whole lotta focused love and attention from our leaders.
Mothers’ Club - where moms of all walks of life come together to enjoy a snack (usually chocolate), play games, encourage each other, tell stories, read books and be a support system. This happens once a week and like all of our programs, is open to anyone who wants community.
Education Programs - where every child who desires to improve their life by seeking an education gets the opportunity to study by being fully equipped with school supplies, shoes, uniforms, even teachers for the entire school year.
